Why will water not go through the portafilter holes at the bottom?

Water will not go through the the potrafilter. The water sits under the basket and starts running out of the top of the filter, but will not flow through the two holes at the bottom of the filter.I did take the porta filter apart and may not have put it together right.

Please tell us, what the Barista was doing to make you want to take apart the porta filter? Was anything else taken apart? Also pictures of the porta filter would be nice.

Have you tested it with no coffee in the portafilter? If water still will not flow then you may have re-assembled the portafilter incorrectly; this picture shows the correct assembly.
