iPhone got unplugged during update

History

Well what can i say, I unplugged my phone during an update i thought was done and now it powers up and goes straight to a screen with the itunes logo and a the usb cord. Ive tried to do a hard reset to no avail. I tunes says it doesnt recognize anything plugged in...Help!

Plug it in and put it in DFU or what is known as a firmware update mode or "recovery mode"

To do this,plug in the iphone to your computer and hold the home button down

If that dosen't work,turn the phone off completely and turn it on

then hold the home button down

Tried holding the home button down and nothing happened. Shut it down and still the same result. Is there any other way to get into the dfu mode?

After restarting my computer it went into dfu mode fine. Thanks for the info.
