Really Strange About the Battery Status!

The battery status is initially red & nearly colorless. When I plug in the USB cable for charging, the battery status is showing that it is charging. But after a few minutes, it said that it is fully charged. Then I plug it off, the battery status still show me red & nearly colorless, but I can still use it for 3/2 Hours. I've tried for a few days and the situation never improve!! Could anyone tell me what is the problem?

I haven't use the iPod Video for a year as it gets wet a year before. I can't turn on at that time, but I can turn it on a few days ago.

I would appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks!!!!

Options

Try using a different USB port for charging it. Perhaps 1 on the back of the computer.

I've tried 2 USB cable, 2 Power Adapter and I've tried the front USB port and the 1 on the back. But I still can't get my iPod fully charged :(

You will need to replace the battery then.

Also, when i plug in the USB cable for charging and play music at the same time, it always stop playing after a few songs. And after I plug it off, it starts playing again. Is it also about battery problem??

The battery logic board is messed up. Replace battery.
