Saving problem-Finder allows file accidentally renamed as another
When saving a file to the Xserve from a user Mac, the finder lists all the files in the folder on the Xserve you intend to save your file to. If you accidentally click on any of the files currently in that folder, the name of your file changes to that same name of the files clicked on. The result is a filing mess. Files have to be found, reopened, and renamed correctly! I have about 20 mac's in my network. The problem is system wide; every user has this problem. I tried to solve it on the Xserve, but I think it is a bad feature in OS 10.5 & 10.6.
Is there a way to change the Finders behavior?
