Which wire goes where on the Imac Mic?

History

I accidentally pulled the wire off of the iMac mic and wondered which wire went where? Here is where I saw a picture but couldn't tell where each wire went.

Magnifying the picture the black wire is on the left and the white wire is on the right/positive terminal. Ralph

Thanks That helped and it worked. My wires were black and gray. I still used the black wire as negative and it worked. Thank you very much you save me a lot of money!
