MacBook White 13" 2.16 GHz Video Problem

History

The video card is ok since when connect to an external monitor everything is ok.

I don´t know if this issue could be the inverter or the Display Data Cable. Any suggestions will be apreciated.

You can see what exactly I´m talking about here on youtube:

It's most likely the video cable, since there is light on the screen at all times (if it's the inverter system, the light would go dark). It's possible the cable is fine and it's just loose in the socket, and being tugged on when you move the screen hinge. I'd definitely check that before buying a video cable.

+ move the screen up and down to see if you get any changes.

mayer,

I agree with rdklinc on this one. Faulty or loose LVDS cable if you're lucky or bad LCD screen if you're out of luck. +

lemerise,

Finally I want to tell you that was a diconnected data cable form the LCD panel. Thank you
