Machine is dead fan is running.

I turn the machine on no start up chime fan runs that is all. Sometimes after it sits for a long time unplugged it will start and run a little while. I have tried pulling the plug holding power button in plugging it in then release power button try to turn on. No luck

It does have 2 LES on right side by speaker

I figure it might be the power supply figured I'd see if anybody has any other ideas

LED #1 + LED #2 + LED #3 = Power available, system is powered on, and video card found.

If third LED is not visible after power on:

• Verify that MXM video card is seated properly

• Verify logic board

This is from the Apple service manual. There were only two things listed to do. The card (which you can fix) the logic board (which requires testing with another machine). Here's a pretty good video on the tear down: http://www.powerbookmedic.com/manual.php...

ok third is not visible so you do not think it is the power supply. I will reseat the MXM video card. What do you mean by verify logic?

Thanks for your help
