I would try restoring it in iTunes, connect it to your computer, sync it, and then click "Restore" that will essentially wipe it clean, then reinstall iOS, so make sure you back up your data first!

same prob with me just restore and just wait or in your multitask just delete the apps

Same thing happens to me too but I can't do anything so I have to end up restarting the entire iPod so yeah, that's my answer. Hope this helps but probably not the best way. sorry. :)

Mine did the same thing yesterday. I could take a picture using the volume up button, but couldn't see what I was snapping. Checked the online posts and then did a soft reboot and it is working. Try pressing both the Home button and the Power on button, holding until it cycles to the Apple logo. Good luck!
