My PS2 has been used for 7 years and recently it doesn't read any disc but the browser said "Reading disc...".After a few minutes it said "Disc read error".Any solutions?

I am assuming that you are out of warranty since your console has been used for 7 years :-) Of course you may just have a dirty laser that needs to be cleaning and most recommend isopropyl alcohol or just a good optical lens cleaning cloth, available in most department stores with their spectacles. The other issue could of course be mechanical in nature that need a little bit more effort. There is a great guide right here it is also possible that you will require a new laser assmbly if your laser should not be working at all. PlayStation 2 Optical Disc Drive Laser Assembly Replacement has that. There are also decent instruction in how to deal with your read error drive right here and some more here. welli have a Ps2 slim and its reading some discs but some not what to do???

If even after adjustments and cleaning and after making sure that your dives cables are all connected appropriately I think you may just be due for a new drive :( sorry
