Error Code 6101 on iPhone 3G hard- or software problem?

Who knows what is behind the Error Code 6101 to get full understanding if that is

a software or hardware problem and most of

all how to fix it?

i was asked if i mean Code 1601. but the owner of the phone told

me 6101. is there no Code 6101? what code range is possible?

do you mean 1601???

1601 is a common error... It's usually USB or itune comma error, usually repairable. 6101 is an error not found on an iPhone

You would not know by any chance if the owner has the Skype app on his/her phone? I do believe that Skype can give you a 6101 error. If he/ she does unistall the app and see if it helps.
