Power Supply tip broke off inside the female plug
Dog knocked G4 off table. Power cord was connected and the tip broke off inside the female connector inside the G4. How do I disassemble and repair?

After you open your machine, remove the DC-IN port. The middle bar on the back of the unit can be pulled out slightly. After doing so, most of the time the tip can be dislodged and removed with tweezers or very small needle nose pliers. I use a small hemostat.
