Convert Mac mini into Mac mini server (2010)

Hello,

I would like to convert a Mac mini (2010) into the server Mac mini or at least have a external SaTa port much like it was done on the previous mac mini

Something along this line:

Any advice or maybe conversion kit?

Is the motherboard different in the 2 models?
