Monitor goes black some time when in use but comes back when I move cover up and down

Replace the inverter cable.

Why the inverter cable instead of the DDC? How do you know which one it is?

If the problem was the LVDS cable, the screen would loose the video but not the lightning so it would not be black. When the screen lightning cut while moving the lid up and down it's a inverter cable issue.

yes, active video but no screen lightning.

Same trouble, replaced inverter cable and display but the problem still unsolved. Any suggestions?

Your most likely problem is a worn Display Data Cable. I would replace it. Here's the part: MacBook Display Data Cable
