Why doesnt work GSM signal?

History

Hi, on my iphone 3g work 3G signal good, but GSM signal doesnt work, can I fix it with this part? This is an 8 GB model.

SmSn, did you take your phone apart or did anything happen to the phone before you lost GSM signal?

Hi, but i have problem with GSM only,

If you received it before and if your carrier has not made any changes, I would start thinking about changing the dock connector. Of course not knowing where you are located, you could also check with your carrier, may be a Sim card issue. Good Luck

dear old turkey :) hello could you please help ? i have fixed an error -1 in itunes ,which is bb issue ,the wifi was weak so i fixed it !! but the gsm is constently losing signal !!!what seems to be the issue ? thanks
