memorex doc display>iPod, but won't charge=? need batt.?
if the logic board was bad, would the display read i-pod> when docked? 60G i think i'll try a new battery for now......thanks

davi, if it is not charging and possibly turns off when not plugged in, it is a good idea to change the battery. Easy fix and not very expensive. Here are the instructions iPod 5th Generation (Video) Battery Replacement and the part is available right here iPod Video 60/80 GB Battery Good Luck
