Error 1015 on itunes at restore.
I connect iphone 3GS to itunes, and it appears the error 1015 and i can't restored it. Please help me!
I have iOs 4.1.2

there is a guide out on http://modmyi.com/forums/3g-s-downgradin... that shows how to handle this error and if you follow this forum http://forums.techarena.in/portable-devi... and check on user Odalis, he has a perfect description as well as software posted to assist you with the solution to this error. It may require you to sign on the the forum but it is free and you will find plenty of further information on those forms. Good Luck
My sincere apologies. I always forget about the Mac. i plugged my iphone 3gs 32gb to itune and it said something like, "the new version of the iphone software is available". i downloaded it and when the download was done, my iphone restarted and the screen got stuck in the itune plug in. i restored it but itune says can not restore, error 1015...i tried IREB to fix it but it still shows the same error. PLEASE somebody tell me how to fix it...by the way, my iphone was jailbroken before the incident happened.

If you've got tinyumbrella you cam use that to boot out of recovery using your saved shah blobs. The error is that iTunes recognises a corrupt version of it's ios and will not complete signing. You need to download a "clean" version of the ios you want... For example download from ericbruin or iclarified or uninstall iTunes and reinstall(save all your stuff somewhere safe and the put back in library after you've done a clean install) you can try going to a friend and using their iTunes... This sets up a new iPhone and apple will then send a fresh install instead of trying to load your corrupt version. Please start your own question
