iPhone 4 backlight very dim!

History

My Iphone 4 backlight is very dark, I can see its screen with a flash light. How can i fix it? Thank you.

Could be the iPHone 4 backlight IC is faulty you can purchase one here.

you can increase the brightness by going into settings > brightness

you do not need a backlight IC. i went to the Apple once with the same problem and they said take good care of it and it will eventually work. what you need to do is open the iphone and just the out the battery and then leave the iphone for a few days (2-3). then just place the battery back into the phone and see if it works.

You should check that the connection to the lcd is fully seated.
