iPhone completely dead, wont charge, wont turn on
My iphone is completely dead. It will not turn on at all or charge. Tried another battery from an iPhone 3G but it still did not work. Could the board be bad or does it just need another battery?

system may have crashed. it happened yesterday with mine. took to apple store and they said the software "freaked out"(a technical term i suppose) and they restored it but i lost all my data and pictures that i had not backed up in a few months. It sucks to say the least. So, you need to back up your data every couple of weeks or else you risk what happened to me. Now i know.
