The Screen is blank. What is wrong?

History

I turn on the Ipod and the screen is blank. I've tried to reset it, but it does not do anything. I continues to play music, but I can't see anything on the screen.

If it still functions, but has no picture, you need to replace the display. If the capacity is printed on the back of the iPod, you need a 2nd Gen display. If the capacity is not printed on the back, you need a 1st Gen display.
