got new screen and its in chinese or japanese

how come the new screen i bought and installed from ifixit is in a different langauge when i didnt change any language setting can i change the language to american and if so how? i cant read the language now.

Options

Restore your iPod thru an iTunes account that is set up in english. Its been a while but I believe this should fix your issue. Good Luck
