What is cracked? Is it the lcd panel, lcd screen, or both?

History

The front of my phone is cracked and I don't know what to buy to replace. I just assumed it was the screen but I didn't know they had a panel too... please help

Basically what you have to replace is the Display Assembly.

If you see black cracks on the screen (the place where your looking at) then it is the LCD Display. If you see cracks and the touch screen is not responsive in different parts of the screen, then it is the digitizer.If your home screen button doesn't work, it is then the mid bezel. All parts should be able to purchase on this site. if not, then you can purchase on eBay.

LCD screen, is another word for LCD panel, do you mean the digitalizer? if the digitlizer is cracked, that you should be able to see the screen, but the touch won't work

If the LCD display panel is working correctly, you can see everything clearly, no black spots etc, 95% of the time it will just be the digitizer that you have to replace.
