nano 2gen won't turn on

i have 5 ipod nano's 2gen all work when plugged into power only! help

So they work when connected to USB and sync without difficulty? Sounds to me like you need new batteries. Of course only if there is not other damage I would start with that. Good luck and let us know.

battery was replaced,still no solution

Check the wiring to your battery as well as all the traces on the logic board. Not sure if the logic board has a fuse for the battery charging circuit but it is possible. Check the logic board for any visible damage and use your multimeter to see what the battery circuit puts out.
