What kext do I need to use the web?

after i install mac os x 10.5.5 on a unsuportable computer with a intel cpu, everything is going great, the only problem is that i cant get into the internet because this computer is called a hackintosh, ralph told me i need kexts to customize the internet conection, i found multibeast, but it doesnt want to work, i need to know if one of you can help me get the rigth kexts, oh and something i forget to say, i didnt install mac os x 10.5.5 with the apple install disk, i try to to that to many times, ashley that instalation disk is not even mine, is Mayer's disk, i bet he is mad at me for not taking them back to him, well the good thing is that i built my first hackintosh with the software called IDENEB. any help will be appreciate

Are you trying to use WiFi or Ethernet? If you are using WiFi, can you try Ethernet?

What networking devices show up in System Preferences (Apple menu -> System Preferences... -> Network)?

i made a hackingtosh, what i need is kexts or driver for ethernet, and i already try that, it shows no connections, drivers are not install. i have two oparating systems, windows vista and mac os x 10.5 on a disk partition, when i used windows vista the internet work but when i used mac os x 10, it doesnt work, i need to install the driver, ot the rigth kexts for ethernet and audio, so it can reconize those two devices and my new hackingtosh will be done

i can answer your question. to get ethernet working on an insprion 530s you need a kext called Intel82566MM.kext that should get your ethernet up and running upon reboot. best of luck! -Alex Noyle
