Probably not; it's a big marketing bullet point for the iPhone 4, as is the oleophobic (anti-fingerprint) coating. The LCD in the iPod Touch 4G uses a cheaper (non-IPS) technology, and the glass is probably also cheaper to bring the overall cost down.

Actually iPod Touch 4G seems to use gorilla glass for cover glass with same anti-fingerprint coating although LCD is different from iPhone 4/4S retina. If it's Gorilla glass, it is made of aluminosillicate.
