Asked

The touchscreen of my iPodtouch, isn't working?

History

I left it at the shower, and because of the watervapor it isn't working anymore.

I can still see the screen, but I can't control it.

Does anybody know how to settle this problem, or which package I should order?

I have done several water damaged iPod Touch repair and 50% of them have problem with digitizer even with replaced unit. You have to change the top flex ribbon to get that working. It is challenging task but can be done, if you can't do it, find a local professional.

I have changed the digitizer - but I seams you are right, that I have to change "top flex ribbon", too. Do you mean the upper part of the mainboard? Do you have a link?

You should try replacing the front panel / digitizer assembly (which contains the touch sensor).
