What soldering tip shall I use for soldering the display?

History

I am trying to solder, what I believe to be the power source ribbon to the logic board. Can someone recommend me a soldering iron, and tip to use with iPhones?

Use one of temperature controlled soldering iron with digital display such as Weller WESD51 soldering iron. That way you will be able to precisely control the temperature of iron to within 9 degrees Fahrenheit.

did you break the old ribbon cable? because you shouldnt need to solder anything
