My iPod is stone dead, and plugging it into a computer or charger does nothing. Could I test the logic-board by removing the battery and then plugging the iPod into the charger?

if only the battery were dead, the iPod should still do something when plugged in
have you tried resetting your iPod?

Could be hard drive? Doesn't sound likely, but anyone else think its a possibility?
