A1133 Logic boards interchangeable even if different LCDs?

History

I understand that the A1133 12" iBooks use either Chimei or LG-Phillips LCDs, and that you can't replace one LCD with the other. Unless you swap their cables first. Am I right?

More importantly, are the logic boards identical on all A1133's, whichever LCD type they use? Thanks for any help, guys.

I can confirm that swapping the Chimei LCD with that made by LG Phillips works but only if the swap also involves transplanting the video cable as well,
