Upgrading lcd on MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz

History

Hi, First off thanks for the step-by-step instructions. I am trying to replace the lcd on my MBP with a one with a higher-res lcd, however the video/data cables don't match, is there an adapter cable that I can purchase or did I just burn my money??

i dont know off any adapter. i guess, if you put this screen on ebay and sell it, put the money against the right one. you cannot just swap it, for any better screen. it must have the same data connector and also the some power connector. use serial number from the old one, to search for the new one. or just buy the whole assembly off here...
