My ipod video cant be charged and connected to itunes. But, if i press and hold the bottom of the ipod (the part of USB connection). It will be recognised by computer and charged. What's worry with it?

I had a similar problem. In my case, the data cable was faulty.

It sounds like the dock connector may be coming de-soldered from the logic board and you probably need to replace the logic board.
