Why does my Itunes close when I click on burn disc?

My Itunes will not let me burn dvds. When I create the list I hit burn disc in the lower right corner and all it does is close itunes and tells me they will send a report to mac. Help.

Possible solutions:

- Update iTunes

- Downgrade iTunes if you didn't have problems before an upgrade.

- Use an another software to burn DVD.
