Pismo getting hot, just applied new thermal compound?

History

Why would my Pismo get hot, on the bottom in the middle? I thought applying new Arctic Silver 5 on the processor would help, didn't. Worrisome.

Try removing your battery and see if the problem goes away. If so you may have a bad battery or charging circuit. It would help to know exactly where the center of heat is located. Ralph
