It was working and now it will not even turn on?

I was just using the phone and then placed it in the carring pouch. Then about 20 minutes later i pulled it out to make a call and it would not even turn on, What is going on.

maybe the battery died ?

when you connect it to a computer - does it charge or show any signs of life?

No sign of life, will not charge, computer will not recognize it.

do you have a multimeter ? - if not, get one - a cheap one will do the job. disassemble the phone and measure the battery. i've pait for my cheapest multimeter around 2.50$. you can also try to connect the iphone to the pc and try to boot in dfu mode (CLICK) - maybe itunes recognizes the phone and you can restore it
