What is the Hard Drive Size Upgrade limit for a

original configuration -

512MB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) on two DIMMs; supports up to 2GB

60GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard disk drive; optional 80GB, 120GB or 160GB drive2

Combo drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)

Built-in AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth 2.0

I have changed from 80GB to 500GB and it works just fine.

Your machine uses a Serial ATA standard 2.5" hard drive. The largest drive I found that would work for you is 640 GB: http://www.ifixit.com/Apple-Parts/640-GB...

I just discovered this and thought it might be of interest: CPU can be replaced with a faster "Socket M"/"Socket M" Core Duo or Core 2 Duo

The Western Digital Scorpio Blue (WD10TPVT) 1TB fits. Its has a12.5 mm height and I have one installed in the upper bay. Its snug but works fine.

Now that 1TB HDs with 9mm height are available, you can also upgrade the internal HD to 1 Terabyte. I just finished it and it works fine :)
