How do you open exe file on a apple?

My friend and I are trying to downlaod a flight simulator that is a exe file. How would you open it on an apple?

this is not a repair related question!

and an exe file is a windows file - so you can't use it under mac os.

many setup files don't accept wine - so the only way is most likely to use a bootcamp/windows installation
