Can this old iBook really handle 30GBs?

History

I'd love to upgrade my clamshell, but I'm worried that there won't be enough power to run a 30GB hard drive. What am I missing?

Advancements in technology allow larger drives that use the same amount of power. Your machine can handle up to a 128 GB hard drive with no problems. Just make sure it is a 9.5mm ATA Internal Hard Drive. The 30 GB hard drive iFixit is offering should serve you well.
