Which superdrive for my iMac?

History

I was dumb enough to destroy the superdrive on my iMac and I now need to replace it. Which superdrive do you recommend me to replace it with and from where (I need it delivered in the UK)? Does the actual model of my iMac make any difference on it?

If you're iMac is early 2008 or older, excluding 24" iMac, you can use this one, iFixit does ship to the UK.

Which one do you recommend I buy? I am new to this whole "superdrive replacing" situation and I don't want to make any mistakes. :)

I am asking because both work for early-2008 iMacs and mine is mid-2007.

Go with the cheaper one, they're both compatible as well as used, but fully tested. They seem to just be different stocks (or slightly different models).
