My iPod is not charging and has a white screen.
iPod does not appear to hold a charge . When connected to my computer I can add songs and listen to songs that are on the iPod through the computer; although the screen is white and only shows a slightly darker vertical band that flashes in the center. As soon as I disconnect it from the computer the screen goes blank.
Is the problem just my batery or do I have a malfunction with something else also. I have restored the settings to defaults and have restored/reset according to your instructions and those given by Apple. Please advise.
