motor stalls when parking knob changed to not parked.

Craftsman ZTS6000 stalls after starting and I switch lever out of park to move.

steve, have you checked the safety switches? what have you checked or repaired so far?

How do you test or bypass parking brake safety switch?

Use an ohm meter and see if you get continuity when you place the probes of the meter on the contacts and engage the switch.

I replaced parking brake switch and engine still stalls when I release parking brake.
