iPhone 3GS Isn't Functioning With Any Computer

I know this is an old phone, but its a hand-me-down from my family, bought on ebay from someone elsewhere. Probably about 3 or 4 years old, and I just got it with a problem. It didn't charge. I looked up some tips on apple, and somehow found out how to charge it. Later on, I had to deal with, whenever plugging it into an outlet to charge, I had to restart the phone each time. Turns out it charges when its completely off, not locked, and when you turn it back on while the cable is still in while it was charging when it was shut off. But when you disconnect the cable, and try to replug it into the phone again, it just wont charge. But, right after I first started up the phone, and fully charged it the first day I got it, I wanted to erase all of my dad's apps on it, so I idiotically pressed the, "erase all content and settings" button, and confirmed it twice on a JAILBROKEN PHONE. (which is the same phone, not to confuse people) I read up on it once waiting about 3 hours at the spinning dial thing, and found out that you cant do it, and saw that it might brick, but from praying for about 2 minutes, and force restarting it with HOME and LOCK buttons, it was back to normal, but with the same apps. It could have been nothing effecting the phone, but I believe that my dad had it go perfectly fine when plugging it into his computer, so this may have been the problem. BUT!!! Please read on. After a while with my phone, I was thinking of downloading some files for emulators, and music, and my same apps on my iPod touch and such. So, I hooked up my iPhone to my computer, and it didn't show up in itunes, or as a drive. Just as I suspected because of the charging issue. So, while having my iphone still plugged into the charger like I usually do to charge it, I restarted it, not forcefully, but manually, by holding down the LOCK button for about 6 seconds, and swiping, etc., so it would charge. I first went away for about 15 minutes while it was off, figuring it would charge as I grabbed lunch, came back and turned it back on. I was surprised. It turns out it didn't charge at all when it was off. 61% to 61%. Also, it wasn't charging at all. I checked itunes, and my computer, and I saw it wasn't connected, or, the computer didn't see it. I figured, "Maybe I Fried The Cable?", and tried a new cable. Nothing. I got suspicious. Tried every other USB slot on the computer with both chargers, nothing. So, then I plugged in my iPod Touch (4th Gen btw) to the computer, worked with both chargers. I even tried another whole computer just to see if it recognized it. Nope. Windows and Mac didn't see it. I figured it was something wrong with the phone, since I had my brother and sister try their devices, iPhone 4, Works. iPod 4th Gen (another), Works. iPad Mini, Works (different cable however). iPad 2, Works. Also tried another iPad 2 and an iPhone 5S. Both worked. All of these devices worked on both cables, their own cables, in both computers, and another Mac. I searched for solutions on the internet. Nothing. I also figured the jailbreak could have crunked up. But how am I going to restore with a phone that wont connect to a computer? Wiping wont work (at least the, "erase all content and settings" feature), I can't fix the jailbreak, and I don't know how to iFile well if it matters. Please help me. I'm stuck.

Okay. Let me rephrase this. I want to get my jailbroken iPhone wiped but I can't connect it to my computer or any computer.
