phone will only work while plugged in even after 3 battery replacement

I am now in the same boat as everyone else. I replaced the battery 3x for other people and I today did it for my personal iPhone 5. It got stuck in the the eternal recovery mode. Restored from iCloud backup. Activated the Assistive touch.

But cannot find a way to wake the phone without plugging it in, anyone have a suggestion?

i cannot find a way to make the silent toggle wake the phone.

The only other way to wake your phone is the home button--which is also affected by pry damage on U3.

Not a big deal to just fix your pry damage though---I made a link to my mail-in repair service if you're interested.
