Changing language to English from Chinese script

My new Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite 7.0" displays as Chinese Script when switched on.

How can I change this to English?

Options

You should be able to select the settings icon, a gear, and language icon, an keyboard key, without having to read Chinese, then the language selections should all be in their native alphabets. This youtube video is for an older Galaxy Tab, but maybe it will help?
