iPhone 5 Reboots every 4 minutes while charging

I just changed a battery in my iphone 5 and all appeared to go well. Phone powers up and works however, while on charge the phone restarts every 4 minutes.

I took the phone apart again and reseated all cables and I am having the same result. I have even put the phone into recovery mode and restored back to factory settings. Still rebooting.

There are lots of people out there with the same issue but no real cause or repair other than its a hardware issue.

Anyone have a solution?

Does the phone restart with the old battery installed?

I just swapped back to the old battery and the phone is stable again. (except the old battery running down in an hour issue but that's why i ordered the replacement in the first place)

I guess I need to email iFix it foran RMA on the defective unit.

Good news I can change an iPhone 5 battery now in under 10 min.
