How to fix "L" clips on AC adapter for wrapping charger cord

Somehow, i broke one of the "L" clips attached to the AC adapter used for winding the charger cord. Not even sure how i broke it, just noticed it one day, so i decided to try and pull the loose L winder out. Once out, i noticed that one of the prongs that go out of the L connector to the AC adapter used for pivoting was broken off. Now i just have one of those prongs and it is loose when you pivot it to wind the cord. I don't want the other prong to break and loose the L clip, that would be horrible. What should i do? i was thinking of crazy glueing a small part of a toothpick to the part of the prong that is missing so it will act as the prong on that side. Would be very helpful! thanks!

PS, it is a Macbook Pro 60 magsafe charger. Not magsafe 2 or anything, just with the L charger at the top, not the T like the older ones.
