Misc Issues when replacing battery? Restarting on its own and Error 29

Put in a different battery and then:

1) Phone will restart on its own intermittently

2) Show a different battery percentage every restart

--- WILL NOT INCREASE % WHEN LEFT CHARGING ---

3) Occasionally cause the LCD to shake in the corners

4) Will not restore via iTunes (ERROR 29)

I tried replacing the charging port, re-flowing the battery connector and cleaning the whole board.

When I place the original battery back in the device all these symptoms disappear and the device will actually restore successfully. I have tried multiple OEM batteries. This isn't the first time I have ran into this issue.

I am almost positive there is no board damage.

Any help would be wonderful.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Turns out the batteries were faulty. Brand new OEM ... APN's: 616-0580

I have never seen this issue before but sure enough when I popped in one of my used batteries the problem was solved.
