Can't remove 2nd screw in the 1st Step

Using the #00 screwdriver, I was able to remove the first screw but am having complete difficulty with the 2nd screw by the charging port. The screw doesn't seem to catch onto the screwdriver. Any tips on how to remove it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

The screws on the bottom are not #00. They are pentalobe, which is a proprietary security screw head used by Apple. You should use a pentalobe driver and you will be able to get it out no problem. It is also good to use #000 on the inside of the phone as this will help reduce strips and breaks on the phillips that are inside the phone.
