What is the circuit under the right side of the GPS Antenna

what is the circuit under the right side of the gps it connects to the power switch via a ribbon and of course it cannot be removed and i can not find a replacement anywhere all you can see when the right hand gps is removed is to smd resistors the what looks like a piece of black tape very cleverly concealed if i try to remove the tape it will destroy the circuit
