dual HDD doen't mount

HI!

I'm having trouble with this second HDD on my Mac Mini 2010.

Did every thing by the book, using the original HDD from apple (I've had it replaced years ago by an Hybrid one and works great), got it formatted with GUID Partition table, OSX Chronologic Reg. and all fine. Used the Caddy Mac that I could find (in Brazil)... it seems equal to the one in the tutorial.

Still it won't mount, and it even can't acknowledge anything plugged, not on disk utility, nor on terminal...

I'm considering changing the caddy, check out if there's been any damage to cables, but would like to know if there's any software turnaround to do in this situation.
