Touch Screen Doesn't work after replacement

The connector on new flex cable will pop out easily, so first make sure all connectors are connected well and try the digitizer before closing the phone.

If the digitizer not respond still, you should try your new replacement on another motherboard to make sure if your new buying LCD screen is good one.

If the screen works well on other place, it may be the problem of the connector on-board, check the pins are complete or not.

And the worst situation is the problem of motherboard.

So a few things,

• Check to see if the connectors are seated properly, specifically the horizontal as thats for the digitizer.

• If they are and the assembly still does not work, see if your able to test that screen on another phone/logic board or test another screen on your current phone. Your old screen will suit the task if it still worked functionally.

• If the above two troubleshooting tasks do not locate the issue, it may be a board issue. In which case it is generally one of the small electronic components near the connectors. A close up, focused, high resolution image of the connectors could assist me in locating any component damage to the board.

• Don't fret if the first two steps didn't work and you suspect it may be logic board damage. If one of the components for the digitizer was damaged, it can be replaced using a component from a donor phone. Many repair shops as well as mine have people experienced with SMD repairs and donor boards to steel these small parts from.
