Why is my PS3 not turning on at all? Not even the red power light.

Alright, so i have a PS3 slim model Cech 3001-A. I recently disassembled it to clean the fan(which I've done numerous times). I then got a little carried away and investigated the interior of my console. Nothing too major, I didn't break anything or touch anything I wasn't supposed to. After my investigating I re-assembled it. When I was finished and plugged it in, it wouldn't turn on, no sound, no red light, no nothing. So my question is what could I possibly have done? Actually the only thing I did do was accidently touch the white paste. I'm not 100% sure what that was or if it effected anything. But if anybody could help me, or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated, also thanks in advance.
